GRANDE GOLF ON TWO MAGNIFICENT COURSES
Golf reigns supreme at Grande Dunes – where you'll find two of the nation's most incredibly beautiful and challenging courses. From the spectacular Resort Club with its seven holes that play along the Intracoastal Waterway, to the exclusive Members Club at Grande Dunes, this is Myrtle Beach golf at its very best. It's no wonder PGA Magazine called Grande Dunes "one of the great golf clubs in the world."
The Grande Dunes Resort Club is an 18-hole golf course which was recently named the “National Golf Course of the Year” by the National Golf Course Owners Association of America. Its spectacular layout, a Roger Rulewich Group design, is positioned on a high bluff creating a spectacular view of the Intracoastal Waterway, Grande Dunes Marina and the four-diamond resort, Marina Inn at Grande Dunes. This Myrtle Beach golf course itself is known for its superior links-style design, which offers expansive Bermuda grass fairways with subtle undulations onto large, modestly contoured L-93 bentgrass greens.
After a challenging game of golf, many members and visitors choose to visit the 10,000 square-foot Mediterranean-styled clubhouse which includes a full-service golf shop, lockers for men and women, a private dining room, large dining area and an outside veranda that overlooks the 9th and 18th greens of the grande golf course.

Grande Dunes Resort Club Review

By: Jonathan Murray MyrtleTalk.com Staff One of the most sought after tee times in the Myrtle Beach area is at the members club at Grande Dunes. Located along the Intracoastal Waterway right off of Highway 17, Grande Dunes is easy to find and even easier to enjoy. Upon entry of the property, crossing over the waterway on their elevated bridge, everything screams quality. There are two courses with separate clubhouses, the public resort club and the exclusive members club. No detail is overlooked here and that’s why it is so decorated with awards both locally and nationally. The amenities are what set Grande Dunes apart from most courses in the area. The Resort Club clubhouse is set up for relaxation before and after your round. Start by getting ready for your round in their men’s and women’s locker rooms and then utilize their practice areas to get ready with complimentary range balls to warm up and three practice greens for putting and chipping. After completing your round, you can enjoy a nice dinner in the dining room or have a drink on the outside deck overlooking the 9th and 18th greens and the Marina. The Resort Club is setup for any level golfer to succeed. With six sets of tees from 5300 to 7600 yards, this is one of the longest courses from first tee to last green anywhere, but don’t worry about the length. Play where you are comfortable and you will enjoy this spectacular layout. All of the golf carts are equipped with state of the art GPS system, giving you another advantage that most courses don’t give you. The course is excellent in all aspects. The greens are large and accessible, and roll very nicely. The rolling fairways are rather large and are in great shape. Beware though; trouble is waiting on the outside. There is a mix of regular and waste bunkers and like most courses in the area, water is visible on most holes although not always in play. There are seven holes along the waterway here which give golfers the opportunity to see boats traveling the 3000 mile Intracoastal. With greens fees anywhere from $80 to $180, Grande Dunes can be a little pricey, but If you go by the “you get what you pay for” saying, it is well worth it. Few courses anywhere will give you the complete package that you get at the Resort Club at Grande Dunes. It is truly a “private feel” in a public course. The conditions, amenities, and service are high quality and a great day on the course is almost guaranteed. Enjoy some of the best and most picturesque holes on the Grand Strand in one place. Course Value 9/10: As good as it gets in Myrtle Beach Course Design 9/10: Great layout along the Intracoastal with great views and beautiful golf holes Fairway Condition 9/10: Rolling fairways are in great shape Green Condition 9/10: Very good. Use your GPS for pin location because these greens are BIG Overall Condition 9/10: The maintenance is high quality and the course will prove it Amenities 9/10: Even if it is only for a day, you feel like a member at a private club.
