Is the water warm enough in Myrtle Beach to swim?

Will the water be warm enough for the kids to swim next week?

It depends on if you are asking about the ocean, which is still very cold, or the pools at a hotel?

The beach water is what I was asking about. The resort said the pool water was heated.

The water temps are around 57 right now and that's way too cold to swim comfortably. I was over at the beach yesterday and even most of the spring breakers wouldn't get in, that tells you all you need to know. The water needs to be in at least the mid-60s to be ok for most.

I went in today and it was rough. We're probably a month away from it being okay for a sane person.

It's still cold but a few more days like today and it will warm up a great deal.
