    Horry County boating ordinance

I wish the county would have passed the ordinance to allow boats and rv's to be stored in open areas of subdivisions. They turned it down and it will only apply to new developments.

As a soon to be boat owner this would have been a huge savings for me. Now I'll have to pay at least $100 a month to put the boat somewhere else, somewhere far from my house.

It's like the county enjoys making things more difficult on our residents.

It may save those of us that own boats some money but it could also damage the appeal of a neighborhood. I wouldn't have issue with it if they could put the storage area somewhere that wouldn't be an eye sore.

Wouldn't you have to pay to put your boat in the subdivision's parking area?
