    Is Craigslist safe?

    I found a great deal on a laptop, or so it seems, but I've never bought anything through Craigslist. Is it safe to buy from them?

    You're not buying from craigslist, you are buying from an individual. People use their service every day but there is no way to be sure that the person on the other end is honest. I have bought things through craigslist but a laptop is not an item I would buy from a person online.

    I've bought many things but it would have to be a GREAT deal for me to buy a laptop because it may not last any time at all. You also to watch for things that were stolen.
