I've had a few people say the land isn't used for anything but I thought use for some kind of summer movies or music festival. I know I didn't imagine that.

I'm I crazy or do they have movies and bands at the old pavilion grounds?

You're not crazy, well as far as I know. LOL
Oceanfront Merchants Association puts on what we call the Ocean Boulevard’s Hot Summer Nights. There is live music, kid's carnivals, fireworks, and many other things for families to do.
