Looking to buy a house on the intercoastal waterway

After living in Conway for the better part of a decade we are looking to upgrade to a house on the intercoastal waterway. Are there any housing developments that are recommended over others?

The price range would be between 450-550k.

You may be able to get into Grande Dunes now for that amount.

It may be difficult to get a house in any of the subdivisions in the range you are looking to spend. There are nice condos available for a reasonable amount but many ICW homes start at the high 500's or low 600's.

Waterway Palms had some homes in your range but I'm not sure if any of them are directly on the water.

There are agents that specialize in oceanfront and inter-coastal properties. Look into that before you do anything.

If you will consider going as far north as Little River you should look at Pelican Bay.
