Why sell fireworks in Myrtle Beach if you cant use them?

I've only lived here for two years and no one has ever explained to me why we can buy them but not use them?

You can't buy them within city limits. If you notice all the stores are right outside of Myrtle Beach. The law is silly but it's all about money.

the city does that to cover them from lawsuits but they rarely enforce that law. Unless someone turns you in for putting a person or property in dange you should be fine.
