    Caught a few whiting from the surf today

    Got a chance to get out for an hour today and was surprised to catch a few whiting. At one point I had a really small shark on but lost him. Im not sure why but I just enjoyed fishing from the beach as much as I do from the pier.

    That's not bad. I haven't done very well the last two times I've been out but if the weather cooperates we're going out about 10 miles off shore this weekend and try our luck.
