    Shots fired in Carolina Forest?

    Something woke me up today around 6:55 am and it sounded like two gun shots. A few minutes later there were four more shots and then after another few minutes there were six more. Anyone know if what I heard was actually gun shots? I tried to pull up the Horry County Fire and Rescue and Horry County Police on the scanner but didn't hear anything.

    I was told by a friend that he heard the same thing but couldn't verify if it was gun shots.
