Go with American Athletic
I've been a member of three gyms and the one I like best and use now is Fitness Edge. It's the most expensive gym in MB but I make up the difference by saving money on my protein powder and other drinks. You have to be a member to get a discount on the things they sell but if you are a member you won't find cheaper prices, even online.
BTW, they are now open 24 hours a day.
Percy it looks like fitness edge is really good but I live almost in surfside and neither location is very close to me. And like you said they are expensive.
Most of the gyms are open 24 hours now.
