Why put these bike lanes along Ocean Blvd when you rarely see bikes in the area? To me that makes no sense because you create more car traffic.

Why put these bike lanes along Ocean Blvd when you rarely see bikes in the area? To me that makes no sense because you create more car traffic.
Wondering the same thing.
I love to ride my bike but that does seem to be a poor choice by the city.
Maybe this decision had something to do with the rickshaws that were discussed here a few months ago?
