Snakes on the beach

A girl told me yesterday that there are snakes on parts of the beach in Florida but I've never seen one in Myrtle Beach. Has anyone?

I've never seen a snake on the beach here but I've seen them in Pawley's Island and Murrells Inlet along the backwaters.

I saw my first snake on the beach last year, I believe I even have a picture of it. That's the last thing I want to see on the beach.
