Looking at the picture posted above got me thinking about the boardwalk we built. Is there a reason it's so narrow? Also it could have been a lot longer too.

Looking at the picture posted above got me thinking about the boardwalk we built. Is there a reason it's so narrow? Also it could have been a lot longer too.
Could it be that they can't build it wider because of the lack of real estate either way? On one side you have the hotels' property and on the other you have the beach. Like you I don't know why it couldn't be longer.
When they were in the planning stages they talked about it how it couldn't be any bigger because there just wasn't enough room. You have to ask if it was also due to cost.
It's not that small in certain parts but much of the walkway is entirely too narrow.
Had they made it wider you would be able to ride your bike or jog along the boardwalk like you often see at other places.
